My sister had an ablation done last Thursday. She has been in afib since last September and has tried various medications and had her heart shocked once. None of them worked. At the same time she had the ablation she had a new type of pacemaker put in. She is going to participate in a 2 year study for this new pacemaker. Not sure what worked but her heart is now out of afib and she can definitely feel the difference.
