I was able to maintain sinus rhythm during the entire night and it looks like they are going to discharge me today on Coumadin. The nurse practitioner said that I may be on Coumadin for up,to six months because of my episodic events of A Fib or possibly for good and that decision will be made by my home cardiologist. He said the six months could be looked at as a remodeling period for my heart. Even though I will be going home on Coumadin, I am going home and I need to count my blessings. Thanks to,all of you on the forum, your level of information and constant support to me has been invaluable and priceless for which I am grateful. Only thing left for me is to go home and adjust to my new life.
