Just saw a promo for Lifetime Network's "How to Look Good Naked" program for Tuesday, Sept. 9.

It's about a woman who's had several cardiac surgeries, born with congenital heart disease.

I haven't watched "How to Look Good Naked" before, but I think I will Tuesday night. Might also be good for those of us who aren't quite comfortable with how our bodies look after getting roadmaps across our chests -- particularly during swim season (how do you say bikini?)

The only thing I know about this show is it seems to be supportive of people (mostly women I think) being comfortable with and accepting themselves.... should be an interesting episode.

Results of my Holter Monitor/new Med

Results of my Holter Monitor/new Med

I just called my GP doc to report my INR and he DID have the test results.
(My thyroid function is fine by the way).
Doc said that all looked pretty much normal, but I insisted he look at what specifically happened around midnight.
He said the Holter showed benign PACs around midnight with a HR of 46 bpm
My highest HR was 97, that must have been in the car ride.
I asked him if we could replace the Metoprolol with something else and he suggested Monocor (bisoprolol fumarate).
Has anyone tried this med?
Thanks in advance.....I've got to go lie down. Brain hurts.;)

Sorry but you made me chuckle, posted in the middle of a thread about naked ladies and you suddenly talk about events at about midnight affecting your heart rate - well what else was I supposed to think? You had me confused about your heart rate going DOWN at that point! :)

Hi Bina,

Glad to hear that you finally got your holter results. I am sorry I can't help you with the med. situation, but wanted to wish you all the best with this.

Wanda :)

After OHS, one gets to spend qite a bit of time in a state of undress. I think Chris looks better despite his battle scars-I am just happy that he is alive and well (mostly, anyway)! He is the one who has the difficulty with the scars, but then again, I've always viewed them as a fact of life, just like wrinkles. He did finally take his shirt off at the beach and also at the water park, and no one eyeballed his scar or made any comments. Since he was so healthy before all this happened, the scar freaks him out; it is a constant reminder of his close encounter with the Grim Reaper. He could more easily put it behind him without the scar.

Debbie and I went to the taping--it was pretty awesome!

I envy you!!!!
I've only seen a few shows taped -- and live newscasts produced by my niece at the TV stations she's worked at.

I will definitely watch this show tomorrow night. Wish I could tape it, but John says our TV set is so old (24YO!!!) that our latest DVD player won't tape from the TV.

I love that show! It sends such a wonderful message to women that you don't have to look like a super model to be appealing and to love yourself the way you are. I think Carson Kressley does a wonderful job of enabling women to feel beautiful the way they are - and with humor and caring.

Maybe the men need a show ... a little help embracing the "spare tire?....

What network is it on? We have the cable, but do not pay for a lot of extra channels, so I'm wondering if we get this.
