Thanks for previous thoughts. Was in pre-op clinic jan23 they decided to wait awhile for aortic valve replacement from the report from anesthesiologist.Jan 11 got out of of hospital from blood clot in left lung, when i heard surgery delay i forgot to ask all my questions. He said you will here from surgery department some time.So i had to post for some advice and answers from my friends here.
1-what the major factors in delay,i am now on warfin since jan 7 good inr of 2.8 never had to take more than 4mg.Is it the bleeding concern.Or is it waiting for clot to dissolve or lung damage.
2-I got teeth cleaning coming up and 2 fillings.Iwill see my family doctor soon
i won't get to talk to anyone in cardio .dentist gave me novo-clindamycin
prescription 600mg.i don't want cause anymore delays.
3-any pre-op tips from you guys.
This is very informal request, iwill see doctor soon.
Note if anyone is having weird chest pains out there.Go to the hospital like they say in surgery book not gp 3 times MY BAD.Thanks i feel ok today here from you hope everyone is well.

Unless surgery is a dire emergency, they would not do an OHS with a blood clot in the lung. It will definitely need to be dissolved first. Your lungs take a beating with OHS and they need to be in good shape.

Sounds like you have everything else taken care of or scheduled. Get rid of that clot and you should be good to go.

Good luck.
