Well, looks like I am between the rock and hard place no matter where/what I do. If I ever get to Orlando (tomorrow), then I have a plane to catch from here in Sarasota to go home to the panhandle on Sunday noonish. I am having faith, tho. Even if we get to Orlando as late as Saturday, I won't miss the banquet. It's going home that has me a bit concerned - getting stuck in Atlanta. I had to ACTUALLY FLY FROM FLORIDA TO GEORGIA TO GET TO FLORIDA! Ain't that a crock? Now going home, I have to fly to Georgia to get back to Florida! If I make it to Atlanta on Sunday and the storm hits the panhandle on Sunday, then I am stuck in Atlanta (again). At least other daughter is there.

It's a bit breezy and rainy outside and we are not even on the east coast. We are on the west coast - gulf side!

We have planned this for over a year, spent lots of $ on it, y'all pray it comes off. If not, I think I will just cry.

Confused..LOL...So, your son is driving you to Orlando tomorrow..Should be O.K... How long of a car trip? Then, yall will drive back to Sarasota..Sunday a.m. for your flight home?.. (May be bad rain)..Why don't you just stay with son?....Heard today that they will refund your ticket if weather is a problem?.... Then, Sunday is the day that it (Katrina)) should hit panhandle, Georgia..YIKES..all we need..MORE rain.. I KNOW South Ga. needs rain..but NOT North Ga.....Hope all works out with you...Let us know before you leave..Bonnie

How about the other classmates?..maybe they are having same problems and you may be the only one to show up ....How many classmates were planning on coming?And which airport do you land in at home?..Will Treresa pick you up there?......I hate this weather..Cooler today but very humid...Bonnie

Chuck and I were going to leave tomorrow - I asked him and his wife to go with me to the reunion way last year. She will come Saturday afternoon. We have rooms reserved, banquet meals paid for. Tomorrow we will just wake up and see what we should do. Seems the storm has zigged a bit towards the south, but they predict it's headed directly to where we are right at this moment. Much rain. If we don't have high winds or a lot of rain, we might make it. They are saying this will go on into Sunday so no way I can fly home that dAY. And of course, we must watch for it heading toward the panhandle!

Other classmates are flying in from all over the country - California and Seattle, for instance. Oh what a shame - I really hate this for every one.

I am gettin the feelin that these hurricanes are more to me than just a storm.
