My thoughts and prayers are with you... I have an aunt who had to have a kidney removed about 30 years ago, and she is doing well. I know it has been said before, but modern medicine has many many miracles, and I truly feel that you will be one of those miracles. God bless you and please keep us posted.

Prayers and Hugs to you Ann.

I joined this group 1 year ago with an older computer and unable to post. Today, I peeked in after purchasing a new computer, came across your post and just had to respond. I think many of us have been touched by Cancer, either personally or through friends or family. Three years before my heart surgery, I had major cancer surgery with complications and now my best girlfriend is going through Chemo. She has a rare form of Cancer, a tumor on her Aorta which can not be removed, which spread to her kidney. She had that kidney removed and was doing fine for a very long time until she developed tumors on her liver. I certainly don't mean to scare you - this is a very rare cancer and it did start on her Aorta not on her kidney. I mention my friend because she has a website she started called cancergifts.com, which has links to many cancer sites. I hope you can find the support you need.

I would love to hug each and every one of you. I am so touched and encouraged by all of your caring thoughts. I can only read 2 or 3 at the time because.....well, you know. Thank you, thank you from the deepest recesses of my heart. Bet Hank never dreamed that his heart site would produce such beautiful responses to every question asked and information shared. It's like we have this powerful, silent bond from one of us to the next and it spreads from here to yonder. (that's pretty far, you know?). This is pretty amazing when you think that we have never seen each other in person, nor talked to each other, that there is this invisible string that just goes on and on and.............

I will let you know tomorrow night what is next, but Gina called me yesterday, and we pretty much decided together that surgery is the only way to fix this thing, an fix it we will. Aren't Gina and I just the best dxers? Experts, we are! teehee

Dearest Ann - Cyberhugs, real prayers. I'm so sorry that you have to mess around with this. As we ask all of our-to-be-surgeried (is that a word?) friends, we hope there's someone who can post for you so we know that you've done incredibly well in surgery and that there's nothing to worry about. Obviously, I also have good thoughts for you, too.

I've been there with the cancer thing - a different kind, but I had a poor prognosis, and I beat it. I am confident that you'll do fine. I think that people who've been through the fire have an extra reservoir of strength and know how to heal.

Perhaps together all of us can come close to sending you the amount of encouragement and support and prayers you've provided to the rest of us over all this time. Bless you and Godspeed.

I just found out when I logged on today! I can only ditto what everyone else has said! You have been a "ROCK" in our vr.com family. Such a truly inspirational, caring, helpful, witty and spritual person. I too would love to be sitting on your porch and just taking in all the beautiful nature all around you.

I am hugging you and will hold your hand through the computer. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers as everyone else here in our VR.com family will.

Before you know it it will all be over with and you will have overcome another obstacle inyour life and can move on.
