HI Everyone,

While looking on the internet for reasons as to why I have virtually no energy, (other than my problems with my heart) I discovered that it was possible that I may have low levels of Vit B12.

So, while getting my INR tested two weeks ago by the nurse, I asked her to check my B12 and I got the results thismorning. Yep, its low. Im not sure of the numbers but I think from 400 to 1000 is normal, whereas my number is ''135''. I also have classis symptoms for low B12.....lack of energy, sore tongue, tingling legs, restless (very painful) legs at night (very bad lately), depression, SOB.

The nurse gave me an injection of B12 thismorning, and I will get another one next week.

Horray, I am hoping to feel better soon.

Yep, low B12 will cause that tingling feeling. My OH had it in the right arm. Taking 500ICU everyday has made things a lot better.

Hope your feeling better real soon

Jacqui, We knew there was a reason you were feeling so bad! I hope this really helps. Glad you did your homework since the doctors would not. Love, Brian

Jacqui,
If you haven't had your thyroid checked that might not be a bad idea. The 'worst case of tired' I had turned out to be low thyroid. Now I can tell if my thyroid is getting low again by how tired I am.

Chris

Jacqui,

The B12 shots make a world of difference for my Pa-in-Law. If he misses one his energy level drops like a rock.

Hope this helps. If anyone deserves a break, you sure do.

May God Bless,

Danny :)
