Jacqui, hope this works, keep us posted. Such a simple thing, and they miss it. Could be worth checking a few other things out, too.

Reminds me of a friend I have who has really serious mental health problems; checked herself in to residential care one time 'cos she was so feeling so tired and down, and the first thing they did was all sorts of bloodwork. Well, her B12, her thyroid and something else (may even have been iron) were all very low, and she felt a lot better once they sorted that out. And here she thought it had been the mixture of the meds that she had been on . . .

Jacqui, are you a vegetarian? I know that might sound like an odd question, but alot of vegetarians have a harder time getting B vitamins from their diet. In fact, I think it's B12 that's only available from animal sources.

I am glad that you are on to something that may help you.
I am curious..did your doctor check you for 'pernicious anemia'? Its a
disorder that causes malabsorption of B12. Even if that is what it is
the treatment is what you are already receiving-the B12 injections.
It would just mean that you would need to keep taking the injections
as opposed to being able to receive your B vitamins from foods.
Just a thought and I'm sure your doctors have already checked it out.
My best to you Jacqui:)

Thank you all so much, I really appreciate your replies.

*AaronJ....yes, I am vegetarian. I dont eat meat, fish, or dairy. (Dairy gives me migranes) !!!

When I had my INR checked on Tuesday, the nurse said I would probably need to have it checked again in a week in case the B12 injection messes with it, and when I do come in I could have another B12 injection.

But, yesterday the receptionist rang and said I dont have to have my INR checked again for a month, so I asked will I come in next week for my B12 injection, she said 'NO' you can get it in a month when you come in for INR check. I asked to to double check with the nurse and she said that was what the nurse had told her to tell me.

It seems a long time to wait as she told me on Tuesday my level at 135 is ''VERY LOW''. We cant buy B12 supplements here so with not eating meat and dairy Im not going to get my levels up any time soon 8-(

I do however have an appointment with my EP/Cardiologist next Tuesday in Dublin, mabey I should mention it to him?

I think you should mention it to your EP/cardiologist. I do think your B_12 is very low and it will take a long time to bring up with just supplements. Good Luck
