I had a friend whose birthday was Dec 25 and she had never had a birthday party. one year I just gave her my birthday. We had a party for her on my birthday with all the trimmins just for her.

Don't let 'em cheat you out of a party, either. My dad's birthday was Dec. 25th, so we always had a special dinner for him, then went on to the rest of the holiday festivities.

Our youngest son was born this week in 1970 and has never really minded it being so close to Christmas. People tend to remember it easier.
