I'm so glad to hear of your "Divine Intervention" Glenda!

You deserve it! I hope HE will intervene for your sweet dog Lady as well.

Putting down an ailing dog was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do so I can sympathize with your anguish.

Bless You!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes and prayers for me and Lady. Lady & I had a bad night last night up till 3:00 this morning. I'm up already because this is my day for volunteering in ICU. She is in the house this morning and seems to be doing fine. No bleeding! ! It always seems to happen around 6 or 7 of an evening. I take her to the vet again on Friday and I may have to make a awful decision. I've had to have my precious furry friends put down before and they just take a part of me with them. At least I can't say that I haven't tried to keep her alive. The only thing, she is in no pain. It's just this stupid nose bleed. She is still drinking water, eating, bringing you her toy to play. I just don't understand it. So many tests have been run and the vets don't even know what is causing it. My husband is very sincere about me not spending any more money on her. I bought her vitamin K on Monday and used grocery money. It's really expensive.

Ross, I trutly wish I could send you some of my luck, but I don't believe in luck. I believe the Lord gives us what we can handle. You must be a very strong man because you have been given so much pain and health problems.
You are always in my prayers.

Glenda, what good news. God is with you and we give thanks. You have a difficult day ahead with your Lady and may God hold your hand during this painful time. Wishing you comfort.

Absolutely great to hear! How such a tiny valve can so well support such a wonderful, loving, endless heart, I will never know.

Seems like there's room in your heart for just about anything, Glenda.

You don't know it, but I helped you out during Thanksgiving week. I ate all that sugary stuff, so it wouldn't tempt you.

Be gloriously well,

Glenda, my best wishes continue for your darling Lady.
I understand that the costs can be difficult, I've eaten my share of
Kraft Dinner in the past when I had vet bills to pay :)

Dear Glenda, Sorry your beloved dog isn't better, but the good news about your health really made my night! Love to you, Brian

That was great news Glenda!! So glad you are doing well and all those prayers are answered. Will continue to pray everything goes well. Prayers for Lady also, keep us posted!!! God Bless!!!

Just this last month I had completely cut sugar out of my diet. I didn't eat any pumpkin pie, pecan pie or any other sweets for Thanksgiving. I did have sugar and chocolate withdrawal for about a week. After that it wasn't hard at all. I'm eating a lot of fruit, vegetables and chicken. I don't eat hardley any meat, no pork at all. He wants to see me in six months.

Glenda:
I love :D pumpkin pie. I have made it with nonfat evap milk, egg substitutes, Splenda, etc. Doesn't quite taste as heavenly as the regular method, but hey, it is much healthier for me.
I eat the pumpkin pie filling and leave the crust -- unless the crust is made from scratch. ;)

You might want to try making a pumpkin pie this way. Just for grins, if nothing else.
