the wait is driving me crazy

The waiting is always the hardest part. Good news for you is that you don't have to wait too long.

GOOD LUCK ... thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL surgery.

Wow Dan! That was quick!! Well, at least you don't have too much time to think about it - which is probably a good thing (unless you're a complete control freak like me ;) ). I didn't think you had a date set last time I was logged on.

I hope it goes fabulously well for you and you are able to get back here and tell me what a piece of cake it is :D

Wishing you the best.

A : )

It's quite overwhelming when you have no time between diagnosis and surgery, isn't it? But I sure wanted to get it done, as I'm sure you are. Don't forget to check the stickies on what to take to the hospital with you, and preparing the home for a returning patient.

Don't be upset if you are too tired and sore to "jog" down to that internet cafe real quick! :D We'll wait on you. But maybe you could have a family member post an updtate for you, if you give them your logon.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Checked the stickies, I'm WAAAAAAAY over packed: I've got enough clothes for a weeks holiday, 2 books, a portable dvd player, ipod, phone, and even a camera, fruit, nuts, and earplugs.... lol, that does sound like a holiday backpack! With the pain meds maybe ill even enjoy it :D

Thanks for the encouragement and all the support, this is an amazing place :)

Oh, and in the UK we have these TV things which come with every hospital bed, they are on a movable arm thing, and you can watch tv, play games, and SURF THE INTERNET on them, so I'm sure you will be hearing from me!!! :D

Dan, I am so watching how you do..I like you just want to get it over with...I have a bump in the road first then mine is Dec. 30th...Here's hoping for a non eventfull recovery... Louanne
