Come on now, Christina-

Start thinking about fun and nice things. You really are entitled to enjoy your life, ya know. You cannot have two different toughts in your mind at the same time. So a little discipline on that mind of yours, please:) . Think FUN! Think about adopting and enjoying a beautiful new life for you and Wayne.

If Joe had been worrying about his medical problems all the time, he would have had about 60 years of excessive worrying that would have ruined his life. He had rheumatic fever as a teen and was told that he wouldn't live past 50. So, here he is at 74, still going and doing. He just puts one foot in front of the other and goes on with what he can.

I would hate it if you were 74 and looked back at your life and said, "if only I had done this instead of ruining my happiness with worry, I would have had many lovely years".

Come on out into the sunlight and do some playing. :p

Thanks Nancy, great advice for us all:)

Thanks for the lecture -

Thanks for the lecture -

I needed that! I truly did and I welcome ALL lectures regarding my worrying! :)

I think to put it into perspective, yes I am a worrier, BUT I did not think of my heart through my late 20s into my early 40s - I had tachycardia in my teens and 20s that scared me but I was young and didn't worry about it as much as I worry about things now.

Then I was symptom free for about 15 years except for occasional bouts of PACs that would irritate me, but not worry me. The few cardio visits I had, they would always tell me, loud murmur, moderate regurg, but never mentioned surgery until my early 40s. I always thought I was "home free."

SO, this dealing with heart disease thing is relatively new for me. I know that is no excuse to worry and believe me I WILL get a better attitude and learn to live with this and live happily and fully!!

As for Joe, he is amazing and I constantly think of him and you, Nancy, and your positive, wonderful attitude. You just take the bull by the horns, do what you need to do, and LIVE! I admire that immensely.

I admire everyone on this board - your outlook on life is inspiring. I already feel a bit better today in my attitude thanks to you all.

Have a great day - I will, I promise!!!
