Reading about it, brought back memories. We adopted our daughter from Korea 26 years ago. Oh, the emotional ups and downs of waiting for her to arrive.

pretty lengthy - about 12-14 months. There is now an eight-month wait period from the time you submit your dossier until you get the photo and info on your referral child. I guess that is a real hard time - the waiting.

So, your daughter that just had surgery - she is from Korea? Did you know she had a heart defect when you adopted her? Of course, now she is all fixed up heart wise.

Maybe you and I will have to PM during this "journey" Wayne and I are about to embark upon. I may need lots of advice. We are going through an agency that solely deals in China adoptions - so they have everything down to a science.
