Everything I read indicates that you are in need of an aortic valve replacement. Have you been placed on a transplant list for your lungs yet or isn't your disease advanced enough for that yet?

I would most definitely think AVR with possible repair of Mitral valve, but you are a very complex case. What do your Docs have to say?

Yes Lisa you need to talk to your doctors. I can't offer any medical advice, not being a doctor and all, but I note the box marking Aortic Insufficiency as "severe."

If you don't get a satisfactory answer from your docs, seek out one who will explain it to you.

Ok Guys what is PM's? Sorry to be so dumb on this but don't know what that is. Is it realsonable to think that the reason I am so so tired and out of breathe is from the heart condition as opposed to the pulmonary fibrosis. To answer your question I am going for a full day of work ups Oct. 28th before the lung transplant team and then around Thanksgiving time I am going for 5 days of out patient treatment for a battery of tests. After that the Transplant doctors and team will decide if I qualify to be listed. I already qualify for a double lung transplant. It has taken just over 18 months to get this far and that is after an open lung biopsy, bronscopsy, enoscopy, colonoscopy etc.... etc....etc....etc....

I wonder do you think this helps my fen-Phen law suit????

I don't know what I would do without your oponions and thoughts. Even though your not doctors you guys seem to have sometimes better information becuase your honest with me and that means more to me than anything. I am going to put up pictures of my two dogs on the web site today my babies that keep me going and my daughter she is a knock out!

What does all that mean?????? I have no idea!

Its a great place the share.
Sounds like your aorta valve is leaking alot. Could mean you may need replacement someday. What does your doctor say?
Did they say what your ejection fraction is?
My left atrium is also dialated. Which I think means its also enlarged. Its a 4.6 above 4.0 is out of range.
I know you have other serious health issues. So I hope everything will be ok.

My sister and her husband moved to Grand Prairie Texas over 20 years ago. His company moved there. That company since went out of business.
My brother in law and one of the other fellas from Brooklyn, NY. Started a business which is in Fort Worth. They service, camcorders VCR's etc. Its called JOTS, Inc.

I haven't been to Texas in a long time. She is coming to visit next week on Oct 10. This will be the second time this year.
I'm very excitied.

Do you have an email that I could send you the pictures of my Echo you can probably make better sense out of it then I can. I know my EF is 57% and It says Mitral Regurgitation is mild and Aortic Insufficiency is Severe and Left Atrial Enlargement is Present Left Ventricular Enlarement is absent and Pumonary Artery Pressure is Normal and Left Ventricular Systolic function is Decreased.

Plus a lot more info. I am in Garland which is jsut about 40 minutes from Grand Prairie. It is really nice to meet you. Where you involved in the fen-Phen law suit? We are just getting started with all of that. Hope to hear from you soon.
