Hi,

Trying to see if I can show you some of the pictures from here.
I have 2 attached.... I think... This is the first time trying this...

I don't know how to insert them into the message area,,, so thought I would try attaching them

Rob

We have to download them if you post more then one per post, but that's not a big deal. We got em!

I'd love to experience Germany just once. I think this is as close as I'm gonna get, so take all the pics you can Rob.
Thanks for sharing.

Germany... it worked

Germany... it worked

Hi again,

Looks like it worked.

OK... the first 2 pictures were taken yesterday in Cologne.
The one of the buildings were taken as I walked along the Rhine River walkway in Cologne. The other is a look at the huge cathedral in Cologne.
I walked to the top of the spire on the right. It was a spiral staircase consisting of 509 steps. Whew.... people going up and down, and the steps were only about 30 inches wide.

The 2 new pictures were taken 2 weeks ago in Baden-Baden. They are of the ancient castle ruins built in the 12th century. I walked up the hill to it, and was able to climb to the highest tower of the castle.

WOW - really tough place to be working.;) :D ;)
It is really beautiful - thanks for sharing.

It's beautiful, we remember it well- Koln as the Germans say and Baden, Baden is beautiful too. Looking forward to more picutures. Have a wonderful time there and thanks for sharing.:)

Breathtaking! The first one looks like something from a children's story book. So beautiful, all of them. You really were way up high in that castle.

Must be cold - no leaves on those trees.

Thank you, Rob. It's a lovely computer-side visit to Germany.

Thanks heaps for sharing...
we can at least say we have seen these places in Germany now...

Marvellous shots...
I especially love that Castle way up high and the view...stunning...

Hey Mr. Rob!!

Hey Mr. Rob!!

I loved your pictures!! So nice of you to take the time to share them with us. They are so beautiful.

I was thrilled to hear you are doing so well on the anniversary of your valve too. :) My valve turned six years old 4-6. I'm off to get my echo in a couple weeks too. Sure seems like the last six years have flew by.

Keep taking those photos!! :D

Rob,
If you climbed that hill to view the castle, your valve must be in pretty good shape! It looks like a pretty steep climb!
Thanks for posting the pictures. It's wonderful to see what I've only been able to read about.
