This is when my job gets interesting....
Rumor is (this actually comes "off the record" from a firefighter friend, verified by a cop) there's a fire bug in the city torching vacant homes owned by an absentee landlord...
Sunday night (early Monday morning really) I was finishing up odds and ends in the office when a call came across the scanner, fire on Deer Street.
I hung out for a few minutes and the chief came over the scanner confirming a structure fire.
Out I go!!!
