Hello again,
After a year has passed since finding out about my bicuspid aorta valve, I'm ready to get more testing to put against baseline stuff determined a year ago.
How do you pick a cardiologist? Is there a credential or something that would make one preferred over another?
My father had his aorta valve replaced a few years ago....and perhaps there is wisdom in us both being with the same doctor.
This is completely foreign territory for me.....and any guidance would be helpful.
Also, I live in Delaware (USA), but close to Philadelphia, PA. Would it be advantageous to visit somewhere in Philly instead? In other words, maybe I am next door to something great and I don't even know it.
Any advice would be so kind....I don't even know what I'm looking for.....or do I just flip & dip in the yellow pages?
