Finally have a Date

It's been a long time since I've been here, been waiting patiently for a date. Doctors kept going over tests to make sure everything was okay before they decided to go ahead with surgery (seems like it's been almost a year).

The date is April 8th, going in on the 7th to get prepared. So please keep me in your prayers. I've been dreading the day but seems like it's time, no more putting off. Just hope this time it goes better than the last.

Glad to hear you have a date, I will be praying for a quick and successful recovery. I am a little over 2 weeks post op and the waiting for the surgery was worse then the surgery itself. Now saying that the surgery was not easy either, you will see many people go through with no issues, and some people have issues like myself, but we made it and I am so glad it is done and I am on the road to recovery!

Thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts. I will be thinking of everyone here as I get ready to go and as I recover. Forgot to say this is the second heart surgery, the first was a repair almost four years ago, April 12th 2004.

God got me through the first one, along with the good people here.
