My wife commented recently that when I have angina symptoms it is when something stressful to me is going on, whether it be emotional stress, or environmental (such as in the heat). I go to the gym at least 3 days a week and don't have any angina there, but my step-daughter called to vent to her mother about some issues that she is dealing with and it is truly difficult situation for her. I immediately started feeling pressure and discomfort. I am just wondering if this is a thing, or just a coincidence. LOL I think next time I am going to take my blood pressure and see if in those moments it is up and perhaps that's what activates the physical symptoms. On an up note, I am feeling great today! Still fatigued, but that is my norm at this point. ;)

When I suddenly developed paroxysmal afib, the ER specifically asked me if I had been under stress lately (the answer was YES as my son had been suicidal for 3-4 weeks, and I had gotten very little sleep due to sitting up with him). So I guess yeah it can. He is much better now and I haven’t had an episode for 8 weeks vs a couple times a week before. Fingers crossed.

All the very best to your son and yourself, dornole.
