The last few days of waiting were the hardest, as were the pittying and scared looks of co-workers on the last work day before my surgery. I felt like screaming that they should cheer up, and that I wasn't dying (as I realized
by my friends at Heart Valve Repkacement.com )! The actual day of the surgery, I was calm because I realized that this is now out of my hands and with a greater power. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the ICU and in recovery mode. I hope your procedure goes as smoothly! My thoughts will be with you. Marcie
