Darryl,

I am starting this post to wish you well. I will be praying for you and sending you hugs.

Please have someone post for you after surgery so we won't go crazy worrying (we will still worry but at least we will be sane ;) .

Look forward to welcoming you to this side of the mountain.

Take care and God bless.

My surgeon told me there was the chance I could get bumped being that my surgery is an elective and if someone else was an emergency they would go first (in patient transplant or emergency transplant). Well, I was bumped until Thursday. So now we leave tomorrow (Wed). Everything is pushed back a day. There is an upside, I won't be bumped again, because they said that he will only bump once and the other upside is that my surgery won't be on April Fools Day!! :D Thanks for starting a post for me. I appreciate it. Can Ross or someone change the calendar to Thursday? Now that I have one more day to play and our weather here is just wonderful (mid 60's), I'm going to get out. Thanks again and see you on the other side.

Well, my thoughts will be with you on Thursday, then.

Getting bumped is hard on the nerves. I was bumped to second surgery, but it wasn't like having to reset my internal clock by an entire day. Stay cool. You're going to do well.

Best wishes,

Darryl,

I will still pray for you tomorrow as well as Thursday then you will be extra covered. At least you only got bumped 1 day, some folks have gotten bumped for a week or more  .

Just watch out for April Fool's jokes once you are conscious again :D :D .

Take care and thanks for the update.

Good luck Darryl, we'll see you on the other side of the mountain! Are you going to have someone posting for you, or are you going to have a laptop? We'll be anxiously awaiting to hear how it went!

All the best mate and good luck ...

and remember hygeine is important to prevent infection .... so insist on at the very minimum 2 (two) sponge baths from pretty young nurses daily .... unless of course they are an all male nursing crew !
