I am so sorry to you both-Jeff and Julie. You both are in my prayers...I know how difficult this loss is...I lost my dad when he was 50 to heart surgery complications, and my stepdad was 60 when he died of leukemia. Take care-Deb

This is the kind of news that shakes all of us to the core. While we all realize that things like this are a real possibility, we go forth knowing that unless we do, we will not be around long and then to have this happen.....Well your family and all have my families prayers and condolences. I'm sorry it worked like this for him, but I guess when it's your time, it's your time and there is no escaping it.

From your first post on this forum it was evident how deeply you loved your father, and how deeply you were devoted to him. Please take comfort in knowing that you did the best you could possibly do for him. You researched, you asked questions, and you obtained excellent medical care.
