Oh no - you know it's very dangerous when we start deferring to Mary. It's like deferring to the Marquis de Sade.

RobHol said:Don't know if I am on the EC or not, Karlynn, but if I am reading this correctly, you weighed 159 on the new scale, and now 152.5 on the new scale -- so you should credit yourself with a 6.5 pound weight loss! Congratulations! But Mary may "weigh in" here, and of course I defer to her.

Challenge: Today, we'll have daughter and her family over and wife will make gobs of sour cream dip to go with chips. I can't eat one bite of that! I am a chipaholic. If I have only one bite, then later when company has gone, I will be in kitchen shoveling in all that's left and eating all of chips. I will pretend I have some, then secretly throw away the leftovers late tonight.

Starting weight---------------233
Today's weight---------------220

Filet
fresh green beans
sweet potato fries.
The fries were very tasty and very healthy - lots of fiber in sweet potatoes.
2 lb of sweet potatoes skinned and cut into 1/2" sticks.
Put in bowl (or ziplock bag is easier) and add 1 tsp canola oil, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice and 1 tsp chili seasoning. Mix until sticks are coated well.
Spread in one layer on a greased (Pam) cookie sheet and place in a 400 oven
Cook for 35 - 40 minutes, flipping 1/2 way through the time.
