Greetings! Notice the name change for the thread, I believe this is pretty close to the start of the Throwdown's forth year, who would have thunk it:tongue2: ... If I'm mistaken on this I'm sure someone will correct me but since I can't change it:tongue2: ...

Here we go on "The Sprint To 11-11-11". We have approximately two months to lose as much ground as possible:thumbup:. Some have suggested a goal of eleven pound loss by the time we cross the finish-line, a lofty goal for TheChimp but he will do his best. Also, I'm starting with my weight today, 207.5. You can start with this weeks weight or the finishing weight of the Labor Day Sprint, makes no difference, but keep in mind your choice is binding. Total loss for this sprint will be calculated from whichever starting weight you choose to use.

I'm excited, we seem to have good participation and the more folks we have the more banter and fun it will be for all!! Good luck and good losing:thumbup:

Sprint To 11-11-11 Starting Weight: 207.5

Superbob's starting weight for the Sprint to 11-11-11 is....

117.934 kg

As the prize for his victory, Superbob would like a case of cranberry-orange scones delivered on 11-11-11 by two Victoria's Secret models. ;)

I'll get right on this.:cool2:
Oh Bina! Oh Fred!
Somebody crank up the oven.:wink2:

ps Nelson, I offered a suggestion in last week's thread about your losing 11 pounds. Thoughts?????

My starting weight is 184.4. Ate yummy illegal stuff at Cracker Barrell Wednesday night. Have paid for it since, but the good news is I weigh less than I would have. Cindy's going to weigh tomorrow to see if it's any better.

Man! If I weighed 184.4 I would be turning cartwheels:biggrin2: ... and by the way ...Cracker Barrel rocks! ... I love their food ... you have put a bad seed in my thoughts:tongue2:

Bob's starting weight

206 lb
391/2 in waist
42 in chest

For me waist measurment is important. I included the chest mesurment to show that my chest does exceed my waist (and to be a bugger)

Happy Trails

Bob

Ok, here's my starting weight for the Sprint to 11-11-11.

156.5 lbs

I should have a loss next week, and in the interest of full disclosure, it's due to being on a liquid diet Sunday, "prep" for a colonoscopy Monday, and no food or drink Tuesday evening for a Wednesay CT scan. My scales won't know what happened come Thursday morning!:eek2:

And if I seem a little cranky between now and then . . . . I am!:tongue2:

My starting weight is YUK: 140.
If I could lose 1 lb/week, that would be 10 lbs by 11/11. Which is exactly how much I want to lose.

I've given up wine, chocolate, and eating in restaurants. I'm tracking everything on WW. I'm doing 20 minutes of elliptical 5 days/week, plus 40 minutes of walking, 5x/week, plus 15 minutes of weights 3x per week. Weekends is dog training, gardening, errands and chores in lieu of formal exercise.

If I can't lose this weight I'll have to buy a new wardrobe, which I CAN'T AFFORD.

Colonoscopy prep -- I dunno, may have to get a ruling from "the Ref" as to whether weight loss after the liquid ordeal will count. :p Seriously, my sympathy. Had a few of those in recent years. Good luck on the CT scan also.

I echo those superhero sentiments. Hoping for all clear!
