I'm late posting this week - too busy eating I guess.... As of Friday's weigh in it wasn't too bad, but I didn't stop there. In fact even today I found some easter eggs the kids missed and two of them had chocolate in them. I gobbled that down in a hurry. For once I'm glad it's Monday and I can get back to the routine. I feel like I'm spiraling out of control.

Starting weight: 224:
Last Week: 192.6
This week 193.4
Gain: .8
Total loss: 30.6

Wise and Cindy - excellent job this week!! Earline, hang in there and I know you will be rewarded. Laurie, sorry about the sick kitty and at least you are still under WW goal. You'll get that extra tex mex lbs. off in no time.

I hope I can make up for all I gained this week (surely more than the .8 it was as of Friday ) and at least break even next week. I'll pay the piper tomorrow when I get on the scale I'm sure. Rats! :(

Later losers...

Eggs

Eggs

Okay, Children of the Throwdown...time to fess up! How many chocolate eggs and/or bunnies (marshmallow variety included) did you consume on Easter? Superbob wants to know.....NOW! :p

I had only two teeny tiny chocolate eggs. I sware SB - it is the truth! Actually chocolate has never been my downfall. I'm more into starchy carbs. I ate way too much bread and real BUTTER and mashed potatoes, and then there was this half gallon of butter pecan ice cream that came free with the ham. It was light ice cream but that doesn't help much when you consume the whole thing over about 3 days. Mea culpa.

Monday today and back on track. Actually it is a relief to be getting back in control. I was fixing to have to call on the Man of Steel to come rescue me from my worst enemy - myself!:D

Thanks for stepping forward and reporting, Rhena. Didn't look like anyone was going to do so. It is obvious that The Man of Steel does not have the command voice that The Chimp has. What is the world coming to? :p:p:p

We didn't have any chocolate eggs. We did split a piece of chocolate cake from Fazzoli's though. It was Cindy's idea!

I apologize, but this is off topic. I'm posting here because this group knows me and Cindy the best. Please pray for Cindy. Our female yorkie, Shannon, is probably leaving us soon. She turned 16 in January. The last couple of days she hasn't been able to stand at all. Cindy isn't ready to accept her loss. Pray we stay on track with food, not stress eat, and that Shannon passes peacefully or that Cindy can handle having her put down.

Cindy does not know I am posting this, and probably wouldn't want me to. Just between friends. ; )

I will certainly pray for Cindy. We had an old, old Yorkie at one time. They tend to live to a ripe old age (for dogs) but that doesn't make it easier when they are near life's end

Prayers are with Cindy to stay strong through this trial, Wise. I know it is difficult on you all.

Ok, Superbob, I will confess. I have eaten approximately 150 peanut M&M's since Sunday. My excuse: I needed to do so to stop DH's consumption of the same peanut M&Ms . . . I am a good wife.

Outrageous! :p But Superbob himself will confess that on a 3 a.m. trek around the house last night, he consumed four of DW's jellybeans from one of her many secret stashes. This morning, however, SB is again the Man of Steely Resolve.

Cindy broke, and cried her little heart out, last night. I think that was her first acceptance of losing her Shannon. Shannon is still with us, but not for long. It's time, bless her puppy heart.

Duffey. Hmmm. The Good Wife Syndrome. I've heard of that. Actually, I was a good husband and finished off Cindy's vanilla frozen yogurt last night. Ooops.

I am now going to latch onto Superbob's steely resolve and finish the week out strong!

Wise and Cindy, I am so sorry for your loss. Very hard to lose Man's best friend of 16 years. Stay strong!

Thanks Rhena. We buried her in Frankfort, right beside her mate Randy. We doing okay. She was never really seriously ill. We think she just decided she was ready to go.

We're doing fine with food. Thanks for your support and encouragement. The help of friends is indispensable.
