Greetings Throwdowners! ... I have managed to lose 1/2 pound, wanted more but I'll take it ... I had a little dizzy spell after working out yesterday so I'm going to pass on the workout this morning ... most likely just got off the floor (push ups) to fast ...

I knew when I set a goal of 20 pounds for the SPDR that there was no way but if I don't set the mark high it's easier for me to get very complacent ... I hope everyone has had a good week ... y'all be safe out there:smile2:

St Patty’s Day Race Starting weight : 215
Last week : 206.5
This week: 206
Total St Patty’s Day Race Loss: 9.0

Superbob will weigh in tomorrow unless he trips over the scales. :redface2:

You may be right about the cause of that little dizzy spell, Cooker, but if you have a recurrence, you know the rule about getting it checked out.

Everyone's quiet this week, eh?

Superbob, sorry to read about your accident. I had to laugh since I did something similar last week only it involved my charging into a child's bedroom too quickly after I heard my name called. I crashed into several large toys which propelled me towards a nearby window ledge. I stopped before I hit the windown, but it was NOT a pretty sight. My slapstick routine made me look merely ridiculous while I'm sure your tumble looked more sedate and serious. :wink2:

I stayed the same this week. I don't know how, since I was sure I'd post a few pounds lost. Maybe I'm not eating enough, I don't know. But whatever the problem is, I intend to remedy it before next Thursday's FINAL St. Paddy's Day Throwdown Weigh-IN.

Last week: 156
This week: 156
5 pound loss for the race

Oh shoot -- haven't had time to get nekkid and weigh this morning. (Sad commentary when you don't have time to get nekkid. :p ) Plan to weigh tomorrow, again if my two left feet don't trip over the scales. Will try to stay away from Krispy Kreme factory today.

Praying for the Pacific folks affected by the humongous earthquake and tsunami!

Ummm. What can I say? Cindy and I forgot to weigh this week? Cindy and I refused to weigh this week? Something like that. What's funny is that for the most part I ate very healthily. I still gained and am totally disgusted. I'm taking another too Superbob and will report weight for Cindy and me next week. Onward to the Race to the Red, White & Blue!!!

I am feeling a bit disgusted and defeated in my quest for weight loss so I sat down and evaluated my situation. Eating right? No. Exercising? No. Getting the proper rest? No. With these questions all being answered no I started my day with a bowl of oatmeal and a walk. Still searching for the magic bullet that will cause me to do what I know is correct and good for my health. The yo yo dieting has to stop and I know it's bad for my health. I need to remember that slow and steady is the ONLY chance I have in succeeding ... Hope all are having better luck than I am ... but today is another day:thumbup:

To say that Superbob is toast as Saint Paddy's Day approaches is to say that Superbob is cinnamon toast. :p Yesterday he discovered the first cranberry-orange scones since he moved to the great state of South Carolina. Then, after devouring a scone, he went to P.F. Chang's and ate and ate and ate and then took leftovers home and ate and ate and ate. But man, was it good! :D:D:D

Thanks to Superdawg, SB still gets two good walks a day (what would SB do without SD?) :smile2: But as for a sensible eating plan, it seems not to exist right now. Have managed to stave off Krispy Kreme splurges, but that's about it. Have to go to doctor and step on his scales next week, and that won't be pretty.

I would concede the St. Paddy's Race to the girlies except that many of them seem to be missing. Maybe we should reorganize and go into the Fourth of July race? :confused2:

I would be OK with calling it a draw as the guys out number the gals at this time and it does not seem even. If we do, I think we should start with a weigh in on St Patty's Day and go to the forth. Should we team up or do it individually? Whatever we decide I'm starting on St Patty's Day because I sure don't need two weeks with no accountability!

Chime in ladies and gents and let us know what you want to do.

I can see that I am not a rock. I am not an island. I am not alone in my dismallity. Thank God for new beginnings.

Cindy wants to reply that she is for do the next leg of the Throwdown as individuals. She says she feels guilty when she gains because she's hurting her team's numbers.

I am certainly on for the next race. Groups or individuals, makes no difference to me.

I hope it is all downhill from here (weight wise that is).
