Well, as of this morning, I'm holding at the same point as at the start of the week. Not bad, I guess, considering the holiday and all. I ate (too) well, but I did get to do a LOT of walking over the weekend. Since Friday at lunchtime, I've walked 10 miles - and haven't lost an ounce.

Duffey - What kind of sacrifice did you make to your scale god? Mine seems to have a mind of its own. . .

Just found this. I'll join the party.

January 2013 weight: 228
Weight as of 5/28/13: 216.5
Total lost: -11.5

I was 242 the day I went in for surgery. My goal is 195.

Good going Steve. My scale is being a little stubborn after my one meal splurge. Shooting for a break-even week! May have to travel in order to weigh on Duffey's scale!

I attribute my scale's sudden favorable outlook to our grandkids' non-stop week-end weighing. Charlie weighs 41 pounds; Haley weighs 89. They hop on and off every time they visit in an attempt to find out if they've gained any weight. I've always thought my WW scales were "twitchy" so add kids to the equation and Presto, ChangeO, I've got compliant scales. Wise, do you want me to ship you some small children?:wink2:

Yes, please ship them. How much can I get for them on EBay, just in case the scale thing doesn't work out? ; )

Welcome, Lederman40! Your welcome addition to our ranks adds to this being a very good week for the TD.

Now that summer's setting in, which will dominate -- extra opportunities to exercise and burn calories (such as with swimming or brisk walks in the park) or increased opportunities to ingest summer goodies like peach cobbler and blackberry clobber? It's on! :smile2:

The red-earred slider is a turtle, Wise, but he's actually mine, so I need to remove him from the list. My bad!:biggrin2:

Lol! I should have looked that up first. I could handle a turtle, hehe, but I'll let you keep him since he's yours. He's the turtle which has gone on vacations with you?

Actually, Cindy and I stealthily snuck in your house early this morning and weighed. We are happy to report a fantastic result! Can't wait to report it!!!!
