Good to see the banter. Best thoughts going to Ann.

Superbob's WW chart shows another pleasingly downward trend this morning -- will try to keep progress for TD weigh-in on Friday.

It's a toasty 22 here now -- beach weather (for polar bears)….:tongue2:

Superbob has his "new patient's" appointment this afternoon with his new doctor, a well-established, highly regarded lady doctor. I guess SB admits to a little nervousness about some of the checks that might be done, but it's all routine in the medical world. After all, in the hospital he had to forgo all privacy, so nothing new.

What's good is that stepping on the scales shouldn't produce quite as bad a result as it would have a month ago. If I get scolded, I can honestly talk about results so far with WW and resolve to meet goals.

Stay warm and safe, friends.

I hope your doctor's appointment went well, Superbob, and all your "checks" were checked without incident.

I went to the grocery store this morning for the first time since I came down with the flu the week before Christmas. I think I'm officially cured except for a lingering cough, and I'm hopeful that the weather will warm up enough that I can get a walk in this week-end.

Great to hear that you're doing better, Duffey! Won't be too long before Cardinals' weather! :thumb up:

My doctor's appointment went great. Both DW and I believe this doc may be the best we've had.

We went over my checkered medical history (I had somehow distilled it to a one page summary) and she was very interested, esp in my complicated heart surgery. Very attentive to all concerns. She checked my heart and said it sounded "great" :thumb up: and my ears (though ringing somewhat) didn't seem to have blockages. She reduced the dose of one of my meds -- which I loved; our previous doctor never did anything but increase dosages and/or add meds.
We will be comfortable with her, no matter what "checks" need to be made.:biggrin2:
