I'm taking it personally.;) When I signed up for the throwdown, I was promised one-on-one Chimp nutritional counseling and daily meditation/yoga sessions with the Chimp.:p
Get out of your tree, get over your crud, and help get me past this weight plateau I'm dealing with!.
In the meantime, good job with your pound loss.:D:D:D

Superbob has lost 3 pounds this week! :D

Superbob's total loss in the Great Saint Paddy's Day Race: 10 pounds.

Superbob hopes to lose another pound or so by the special St. Patrick's Day weigh-in next Wednesday, after which he plans to go eat corned beef and cabbage and drink green beer. :)

Superbob proposes that post St. Paddy's Day, we begin the great weight-loss race to Independence Day. See. SB does better with these sprints. He knows The Chimp is the true marathon man, er, marathon simian.

Speaking of The Chimp, congrats on the latest loss, and sorry you're under the weather. It is hard to poke fun at you when you are feeling lousy, so get well soon!

Congratulations on the 3 pound loss, Superbob. You rock! Count me in for a July 4th race.

Getting discouraged in Kentucky.

I gained .6 lbs. as of this morning. We had our first WW Thursday weigh-in. Cindy lost 1.2...good for her!

I'm having a time with my thyroid issue. I feel like crap despite a second dosage change. I have no get up and go and just have become a grump. This has to go away or my sanity will and my weight won't. ; )

Don't get discouraged, Wise! Half-pound is like staying the same, which is good. And don't get discouraged on the thyroid front either. Doc just started me on a thyroid med a few weeks ago -- underactive thyroid (I think). Anyway, maybe I got lucky and got the right dose from the get-go, but I feel good, and maybe this is helping me lose some weight. (Also, the new diet book is helping for sure.) Anyway, I am sure your doc will get you at the correct dose and all will be well. Hang in there!

Meanwhile, congrats to Cindy.

I forgot, congrats to Cooker and Superbob. Good job!

Mary, please film the meditation/yoga session. It sounds like an exercise video in the making, sort of like a Jane Fondle video (as Rick Dees used to parody her ; )).

There so many thing in the world that are discouraging ... don't let .6 pounds get you down ... It has to be the rise before the fall:) .... As SB said .6 is just like staying the same ... congrats to Cindy ....

I really don't know why anyone would want a digital scale ... no fudge factor ... speaking of fudge;)

You are absolutely right, there is more to get down about. I think it's really me feel sorry for myself for feeling like lousy.

So the moral of this story is, pass the fudge and hide the scales!

Congratulations, Mr. Chimp! Keep it up.

Do not be discouraged, Mary. You will be happily surprised later. I was on a plateau for a long time, and now the lbs started to melt!!

Superbob has lost 3 pounds this week!

WOW! Congratulations, Superbob. Enjoy it.

Do not be discouraged, Wise. .6 is nothing! you will drop them off next week (as I did this week). It is harder to lose weight with hypothyroidism! It takes lots of dedications to exercise and lots of deprivations! I have a hypo thyroid too...TSH keeps going up and down without any notice :D and through the change my weight goes always up! I am increasing my exercise levels to beat this, hoping I can keep up with my new exercise schedule.

Congratulations to Cindy.

As for me, I lost 1.5 lbs. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.

Starting weight: 180 lbs
Last week's wt.: 175.5 lbs
This morning's : 173.5 lbs

Total loss: 7.5 lbs.

So when do we want the St Patrick day weigh in to be ... I think SB had a good idea about July 4th being our next challenge ... sprinting seems better than long distance to me as well!!

Ok by me ... are we using the weight from the last weigh in of 2009?
