well, i guess it's my turn to keep things going the right direction - given that i've been absent for awhile and eating like i was on vacation or something! Wait a minute, i was on vacation.
i'm sorry to say my vacation glow is gone, but so are the extra pounds i packed on. That last bit is the good news! Down 5.2 lbs this week and back under 200!! . :d:d clearly most of it fluid, but hey - it's gone!
Now i'm back to where i was on jan 1st - so hopefully next week my loss (optimism at play here) will contribute towards the st. Patty's day race.
Fellow throwdowners - when the scales don't budge and you think they should have - that can be sooo frustrating. The body is a finicky thing. If you just
hang tough then next week i'm sure you will be rewarded two-fold. That's happened to me i don't know how many times - where i should have seen a loss, but didn't. The next week usually makes up for it provided i don't throw in the towel and succumb to drowning my frustrations in food. That never solves anything. (but does taste good for a little while...
) just don't give up!
