This looks like a great price, but, then again, the words 'if the price is valid' are extremely important in this case.

How can this company buy (and sell) a meter that they probably have to pay more for - even at a wholesale price?

Is this perhaps funded by an organization that wants to see those who need the meters GET the meters?

The price looks to be too good to be true.

Personally, if I had the funds and was in the market for this meter, I'd do a careful check into the company, THEN see if they ship to the United States.

If it seems too good to be true -- it probably IS.

Williams Medical Supplies are the official Roche distributor in the UK and Ireland. The price is what a UK person would pay - I am not sure they will supply to other countries, but they are 100% legitimate.

I took another look at the offering. There's a higher price that includes VAT (value added tax?), bring the price higher - but still lower than the U.S. price.

OTOH - there are U.S. retailers who sell the meter with 24 or 48 strips (or alone) for not a whole lot more (and I won't mention names here), but the pricing is pretty good domestically, there is probably no charge for shipping, there's U.S. support (I think), there may possibly be warranty coverage. This U.K. company may not want to sell to the U.S. (but it's worth asking) and will probably have to include the VAT.

I don't have the funds or, really, the NEED to get an InRange - but after considering the issues I noted here, this may not be THAT GOOD a deal.

There are FOUR now, Perhaps whatever scared eBay about posting these meters (or somehow these got past their filters), it's nice to see that a few (maybe the first few in quite a while are getting listed).
