Ross, the color of his skin in so healthy looking! Now to get bones and everything back where they belong and then you guys can look to the homestretch. What great pictures too!

How does he manage to sleep?I hope he brought some morphine home with him..that really looks painful...... ..Hope that it will heal with no problems.....How long do you think he will be in this thing?....You are a wonderful Daddy.. taking care of your little boy..and..you with your own problems...Let us know if he likes get-well cards..can flood him with them. Many members know your home address. Those that don't can always PM me, Mary or Ann..(hensylee)..We would make sure that they are members of VR.Com before giving out your home address....Bonnie
His foot looks great. How long is Chris going to have the external fixator on?
Make sure that he does his pin site care as directed. He certainly does not want an infection at this point. Sorry, the orthopedic nurse in me just had to come out. Seriously though, I am glad that things are looking better for Chris.
The graft is still the graft. It's big and ugly and is yet to be fixed, but will be once this thing gets the foot back to level. Doc told us 3 weeks, but he's trying to push it in 12 days. If Chris can't stand the fast crank, he'll back it off to 3 weeks.
Ross - Looks as though Chris has a hardware store in his ankle. Foot still looks pretty swollen. I hope this goes well and fast for all of you. Still in my prayers!!
We hope Chris' foot alignment is quick and pain minimal. Sure looks like they've got it lined up and ready to "set" real good. What a hard time it has been for him (and you). Even with all of the complaints and such, he must be a tough cookie, like someone else we all know.
They say it's far from normal, but he should at least be able to limp along on it. hope they're wrong, but judging from what I see, He's going to definitely going to be gimping.
I don't know how I missed the boat on this one....
I don't know how I missed the boat on this one....
I just can't believe all the )@!# that you all have had to endure since this horrible accident. Along with everyone else, I am thrilled that all went as well as can be expected...Prayers and Thoughts continue. Harrybaby
Oh man Harry, I had a message from the health dept today on teh machine. They want me to call about my variance request for sewer hook up. The didn't sound to pleased that I was requesting it again.
ross I just finished reading a book entitled 90minutes in Heaven
It made me think of Chris
the man was in a terrible accident.. ended up wearing the fixator to his thigh for 13months..
just his emotional pain, physical pain and attitude and mood..sounded so much like what Chris has been going through (via your posts)
I don't know if either of you are readers..but I would recomend it to both of you.
