I'm going to be in Chicago for a meeting this week. Would anyone like to get together for dinner? I'll be staying downtown on Michigan Avenue but I have a car and can go just about anywhere.

I plan to have dinner every night so if some want different days, I could do that too.

Double rats!!!!!! I'm in the Chicago NW suburbs and would have loved to get together for dinner. Unfortunately May 2 is my anniversary (Not unfortunate that it's my anniversary, just that it falls on a day you'll be in the Windy City ), I have evening rehearsals on May 3 and May 4 we'll be in Michigan.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it either ... my schedule this week is already just about filled. Glancing at it, I would think that Wednesday night would be the only night I have available ... and even that is questionable.

Hmm...how far west are you willing/able to drive?

I get to Ohare about noon so I could just hang around the area for awhile. I like to take pictures of flowers and was thinking about going to the Botanical Garden anyhow, so that will work.

Anybody else want to join us for an early dinner in the O'Hare area?

Pick out a restaurant and let me know the address.

Hmmm...instead of waiting around O'Hare, you could just come out to Schaumburg ... and meet me for a late lunch on Wednesday, if you'd like....

Unfortunately, I will not be able to drive further towards Chicago after work ... just too much traffic and too much time on the road at that time of day ... sorry . I strongly dislike city driving as it is ... he he .

Anyway ... let me know what you think about lunch. Or, if not lunch, you could always take your time getting out here and meet me around 4:30 for an early dinner in the Schaumburg area.... Let me know .

The plane isn't due in until noon. By the time I get my car etc it will probably be 1PM to leave the airport.

Sorry that I did not get back to you.
Ihad to get ready last night and I had an early flight this morning. Had to be out of the house by 6AM to get to the airport so I haven't had a chance to look at e-mail for almost 24 hours.

I'm already at my hotel downtown.

We will have to try again another time.

Sadly, as it turned out, I also missed seeing someone I know from the First Gen MC club ... who is also in Chicagoland this week. Ah, well ... sometimes, things just don't work out ... frustrating as it is .

Thanks. I had a great flight. I had enough miles for an upgrade to 1st class. It was a 50 seat plane and 49 were filled. The only empty one - right next to me. I was a lucky duck.
