Sherry, Congratulations! I hope you have many many more years out of that St. Jude. I'm hoping to get some milestones like that out of my St. Jude too. When my surgeon told me what he implanted he said it was the tried and true model......nothing fancy but a real workhorse. I rather expect our valves will last longer than the rest of us.

Today, I am celebrating 10 years as a ticker. June 16th, 1997, was the date I received my St. Jude's mitral valve. Got a good checkup a few weeks ago, so I'm looking forward to another 10, 20, 30...
