I always worry that my cat will jump into the clothes dryer when I leave it open, so I always make sure she's not in there before I start it!!

I've heard of cat's being accidently shut in refrigerators too!

I'm in a hotel room in San Antonio -- went to a cat show today -- and read the story to three friends. One is a veterinarian, and he was floored that the cat survived....

Norma, you are wise to check the dryer before you put clothes...a teenager who wanted to help her mom drying the clothes did not notice the cat was inside!!! You know the rest!!
