I didn't go to rehab after either of my OHS. After my first one, my cardio said he did not think I would get enough out of it to be worth it. He knows I eat a healthy diet, understand my heart disease, and am disciplined and motivated to exercise regularly. Actually, my DH and I walk past his office on our evening walks and from time to time run into him leaving his office for the day. He's seen us enough times to know walking is a regular part of our day.
He didn't even mention rehab to me after my second OHS four years later but I knew if I wanted to go, he certainly would have approved my request.
