Before you ask, no, I am not posting from the OR! Late yesterday my surgery was pushed back to the original 10:30am start so I am up, washed and scrubbed with the antibacterial soap and ready for anything. I was assured by the surgeon's admin that today was THE day for sure and that they just had to juggle the scheduel a biot to be sure I had a bed to go to!! Both wifey and I had a solid 8-9 Hours of sleep last night so we are both bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to face the day calmly. It is finally here and will feel great to get to the hospital and hand myself over to the professionals.
Thanks again to all for their best wishes and I have given wifey instructions on how to make a post in Post Surgery when she has a minute. See you all on the other side of the mountain!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. It looks like the inversion in Vancouver is finally starting to break up and you'll be able to see more of the city when you get home.
