Hey, Gina, my parents used to live in Schamburg, on the corner of Wise and Summit, if you know where that is. If they still lived there, I'd "pop in" for the meeting. Get Steve there-we need to have the Waiting Room represented, even though I semi-voluntarily left it. Will you all be making plans for the reunion? I'll be there (somemone has to give Rain the valium on the plane ).

Hi Paul,

I think some reunion planning is in order. We have our dates. Hank just needs to give final approval on the hotel. To make it affordable for all....... we are looking at the Best Western on Ohio Street downtown. Full serivce and freshly renovated.

Really looking forward to metting you. Funny, but it feels like we are old friends. Must be the common thread. Polish power

Lorraine, I will start looking into bruch locations for next weekend. If it's just the two of us I will come up to Crystal Lake. My good friend in Cary is really sick and could use some company too.

Church in Batavia starts at 9:30a...so I can be out of there by 11am or so.... But, I do have a car show in Hampshire in the late afternoon hours....

Let me know where and what time...I'll see what I can do . Would be cool to meet ya'll .

Hi Perry, Nathan tells me you are getting alot of golf in! Trac is sorry it didn't work out with the league. As he's figured out, not enogh time in the week for golf up in Chicago. He could squeeze it in down south without an issue. Were looking at 5 years max here then were off. The pressures of city life is too taxing. I am pushing for Austin

Hey, Cort - Maybe I can pry the digicam away from my teen-age daughter and bring it with on Sunday. . . I'm no ace with it, but Ross was able to fix a picture for my avatar. If we can get a picture you like, I can e-mail it to Ross and ask him to adjust it and e-mail it back to you.

Gina and Lorraine, it looks like I'm on my own Sunday, so if I get my chores done on Saturday I'll make brunch. Where's this place you've suggested? (What intersection is it near? I'm coming from just about O'hare field area.)

Hi Gina,

Forgot to check in yesterday to see what the plans are. Yes, I will make reservations for the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake. Sunday June 8, 2003 at 12:30pm for a party of 4 to 6. Sounds like a definite plan.

I figured once Cort reviewed the map he would consider Crystal Lake closer, since he's coming from Batavia.

Steve: If you're taking I90, I would just get off at Route 31 and travel north. You'll pass through end of Elgin, West Dundee , Algonquin and then on toward Crystal Lake. Holiday Inn sits on the corner of Route 31 and Three Oaks Rd on right hand side. Turn right on Three Oaks and then left into parking lot. If you pass under a viaduct on 31, that means you went too far, as you will have just gone under Route 14 or Northwest Highway as it's called. If you need more info, I'll write more later. I have to start working now. Will check again at lunch!

It will be good to see everyone. Sorry we won't see you Perry, but we know you are a true golfer!

But as you know we will be in Naperville July 30th to Aug 1st then Sept 2nd to Sept 4th

so maybe I could meet up with you and anyone else who can spare the time for lunch

Lorraine...thanks for the directions. Actually, I *believe* Batavia (where I go to church) is closer to Schaumburg, but I chose CL because it is closer to Hampshire, where a car show is later Sunday afternoon .

Jan...I *should* be around those dates that you'll be in the area, but remind us closer to those dates .

Cort - We'll have to see how schedules work out to see about meeting up along 31. Not sure how tight for time I'll be, as the wife is always dropping things onto the calendar and not telling.

Also, if we meet along the road, we'll probably both be arrested for some traffic excess (290 horses just love to run, and 12-inch wide tires just love the curvies and twisties. . . )

Ok, I am a definite go for Sunday. Was not sure after all of the happenings with our daughters new found heart condition.
As luck would have it...... we have been waiting for the "next step" call before the weekend that never came. Don't you just love it! I was out and checking my messages every half hour. Pure torture when it's your child.
