Hi Aussie
I see you are in the waiting room. I hung out there for almost four years- time enough to really read a lot of posts over here! That was such a help.

I hope they don't make you wait too long as it sounds like you are near the limit. Best wishes.

Hi Caitlin - yes being in the waiting room is no fun at all. I'm fine most of the time - keeping busy etc. but I'm having minor surgery in a couple of weeks for an unrelated condition so I'm more "edgy" at the moment!! My heart numbers are fine ATM but I'll be sent to the surgeon as soon as they change. This waiting thing would be a lot easier if anyone could give us definites but my cardiologist said it could be anywhere from 2 months to 4 years - and even then he said he was guessing - which makes it harder!! I'm so glad everything went well for you and that your recovery is progressing smoothly!! Keep it up!!

Hi Sue
Returned to work 9am on 7 November, dismissed 9am 7 November 2005.

I was so sad to read this. It must have been mindnumbing.
I lost my job too, My first surgery was an emergency because the cath dr dissected the artery with the defect trying to remove it.

When I woke up, my life was completely changed, so I have special sympathy for someone else who seems to have suffered similarly.

I hope things are going better for you now.
