Funny you should mention our high stress profession -- I had started a thread a few weeks ago about my blood pressure spiking and losing my vision after a student threw a desk in my classroom. However, last night was the icing on the cake and the real reason why I teach h.s. I went to graduation and hugged tons of kids that I was privileged to teach as sophomores and seniors. It's so gratifying to see that diploma in their hands and know you helped them in some small way, especially a few of them who were on the verge of dropping out earlier in the semester. BTW, I teach in Kentucky so feel free to use y'all
