The 'usual' recommendation for surgery to repair / replace an Aotic Aneurysm is 5 cm, sometimes 5.5 cm, and sometimes less for BAV patients, especially if their BAV is congenital.

Not being able to sleep flat is a Definite Symptom that your Cardiologist and Surgeon need to know about.
