Thanks for the kind words.
Bob's dad has followed almost exactly the same course as Nancy's Joe, and I was almost able to predict each step as it was encountered after reading Nancy's posts.
Bless you Nancy.
If everyone would keep my kids in their thoughts as they travel to get home over this long week-end, I would appreciate it. :)

Sorry to hear this. My sympathies are with you and your family.

Mary, sorry, so sorry to hear this. a loved one passing is always a day of great pain. may a thousand angels sing to him forever. and may you and your husband's grief be brief, your memories kind.

Mary, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My parents both had passed 80 when they died but it was still very said. They were good times though for all the family to gather together and in so doing reaffirm the strength of a family. My youngest son once remarked on what a great time he had had at a family member's funeral but clarified it by saying, "you'd have to know our family." I hope you have joy mixed in your sorrow during these difficult days.

Mary, I can't believe I missed this post! So sorry!!

I wanted to add my sincere sympathies too and send love to you and Bob and the whole family of course,

My thoughts are with you
Love Emma

Mary, I must have my head burried in the sand. I didn't see this post. I'm so sorry I'm so late in offering my sympathy on the death of your father-in-law. I'll remember your family in my prayers. Love ya ! !

Mary, I'm so sorry..............

Mary, I'm so sorry..............

Chiming in late as usual, but please accept my condolences. Yes, he had a geat 80 years, but it is never easy to lose a parent, regardless of how long they've been with us. And, yes, we will definitely add y'all to our prayers. Many hugs. J.

Thanks everybody.

On Monday, I used the computer at Bob's house, and was so very pleased to be able to tell Bob's mom that so many of you had replied. They have a valve connection too . . . besides the tricuspid issue that his dad had, all three of Bob's sisters suffer from mitral valve prolapse. His family has grown use to listening to my stories about the VR forum, and Bonnie actually met most of Bob's family last summer in Florida.

It is a small world, and once again, thank you all for being part of ours.:)
