I'm starting this thread a little early as I know you must be spending the weekend getting ready for the big day on Monday. Glad that you are finally going to get this behind you after all the delay and wishing you a successful surgery and uneventful recovery so that you can be back coaching little league before you know it. Godspeed!

Wishing you the very best for your surgery on Monday. Have a great weekend and we will see you on the other side!

Best wishes for your journey over the mountain.

Hope you have an easy surgery and an uneventful recovery.

Thanks for all on this site that share & care so much! Esp. those that have had their surgery & share their experiences.

I haven't lurked here for awhile, until a couple of days ago. Reading these pages has shown me that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I discovered that when I first found this site.

Casey the Wondercat just walked across the keyboard & destroyed what I typed. Was that a message from above telling me NOT to send what I was going to send?... Now he is sitting in front of the monitor, blocking most of my view:D.

In short, prior to November 4th I had MANY dreams of not making it. I have not had any such dreams now! The Good Lord stopped my Doctor. That has to be the reason. I figured many years ago that my duty in life was to bring a bit of joy into the lives of others. I must not be finished yet.

Ballard Little League sent me a package on November 3rd. A note wishing me well, a couple of All-Star hats, & some Funny Glasses! Sometimes small inexpensive gifts can bring such jot (& tears) Everybody knows, UMPIRES need glasses!

you'll be in my thoughts tomorrow, mate. think good thoughts and you'll recover quickly. i remember being very calm and peaceful the morning of my surgery. it's a pretty wonderful feeling knowing you're about to receive expert care, and that soon, your heart will be stronger than it ever has been.

go well,
aaron
