Betty's husband Tom expects her to come home in 1-2 days. She is feeling fine but her INR is only 1.4. She threw a clot and couldn't hold down any coumadin. As soon as her blood is stabilized she gets to go home. She appreciates all the kind thoughts and prayers.

I will be glad to share Betty's address for get well card purposes today, Thursday; tomorrow I'll be gone all day.

Betty is still stuck in the hospital.She is pacing the halls and climbing the walls.The clot had cut of some blood supply to the ascending colon.Blood supply is ok now.Concern at this point is how to prevent other episodes.Betty says hi to everyone. Thank you so much for the update. Betty has been in my thoughts. Happy things are going much better. Sounds like she's waiting for her INR to come up? Ugh, that bought me an extra 8 days in the hospital x2. I know how she feels. Well enough to be home..... but in holding.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking about Betty this evening.

I can relate to Betty's frustration at being in the hospital so long. I was in for 17 days. My friend who is a nurse kept telling me I was where I needed to be. I hope that Betty will be released soon.
