Beth, we are happy you found us just before surgery and want to wish your husband Alan the most successful of surgeries and an uneventful recovery. He has his brother's experience of 7 weeks to rely on and we know he will do just fine. Looking forward to hearing of his successful climb over the mountain. Godspeed!

Thanks again! I posted a reply on the valve selection thread but I guess we are "pre-surgery", too. Gotta learn valvereplacement.com etiquette!

Wayne: The weather says one more nice day tomorrow here in NH and then rain till Al's surgery. Plan on being off on the bikes for most of the day tomorrow. Al thinks that he'll be out on his bike in 6 weeks, ha!!!! He knows better, so I just let him talk!!!! He does have a touring bike (Road Glide) with a gentle ride and cruise control, but..........we'll see!!!!

Hi Beth,
Changed the date on the calendar to the 30th as you posted in the valve selection thread- so sorry you have the stress of waiting an extra day, but think of it as one more day to do something fun and one more day for us to send you and your husband blessings and good wishes!
