I'd been feeling more tired recently & experiencing some chest discomfort/light pain. This was 13 weeks post-surgery. Called the cardiologist & they had me come in & get checked out ... echocardiogram, blood cultures, CTA, etc. Fortunately, everything checked out ... my point to this is that I was discussing the being tired, chest discomfort with the cardiologist & he said something that I needed to hear. He said "you chest will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever be the same again". No one had put it to me like that & I actually felt somewhat relieved. He also made it a point to remind me that I'm not 20 anymore (I'm 39) & I'm not going to feel better as fast.
