Betsy,
I will be out of town when you undergo replacement on Friday, so I will send my well wishes out to you today. :) With your surgery taking place at Cleveland Clilnic, I am sure you will have a successful replacement, and I hope an easy, uneventful recovery.
Godspeed

Wishing you the very best, and looking forward to reading the good news.

My thoughts and prayers go with you. You can know all the material and have the current statistics and the best doc and medical facility anywhere but when it is you going through it it becomes much more personal and the ground feels a little shaky. We've been there and understand what you are going through. A lot of love and concern surrounds you this week. May God Bless you and go with you each step of the way.

Wishing you all the best. Looking forward to your first post on this side of the mountain.

Godspeed.

It will be over and you will be recovering before you know it. I think the week of your surgery is the worst. You will be in my prayers!! Godspeed!

Best wishes for a successful surgery, and smooth uneventful recovery. I look forward to hearing your update from the other side of the mountain.

Sending best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery. Hope someone will get the word to us quickly as you know how we worry. Godspeed!

Hello Everyone,

All your warm wishes really go a long way! I read everyone's posts and prayers for me and immediately felt the strength and courage you have all had to go before me. Thanks for passing the torch!

I am here at Cleveland Clinic! I promised myself I would tick off all the major accomplishments, and getting here is a big one. (I will have to actually make that list when I am done with this post!). Today was lots of poking and testing and imaging, but overall, wonderful, competent people, inspiring confidence in my decision to be here.

Trying to relax and conserve my energy, not worry about too much and just let go and leave it to all these professionals. Friday still looks like the big day and Marguerite is kindly posting about the surgery and recovery.

Again, thanks everyone for paving my way!

cheers, Betsy

Betsy,
The waiting really is the hardest part. You will be on the recovery side of this before you know it. You will be in my prayers.

Betsy:
The hard part is the waiting. You have made the tough decisions and picked one of the best hospitals and surgeons in the world. Trust your decisions and the staff at CCF; they will take good care of you....Look forward to that next haircut and starting your NEW life......

Look forward to hearing from you on the other side of the mountain.....Best wishes for a speedy and uneventful recovery.....

Betsy,

You're almost there. You're in the best hands, so relax and enjoy. I remember the day before my surgery. I just thought of it as another milestone in life, just like your first day of school. Also, think of the little engine that could and repeat to your self "I'm gonna make it", "I'm gonna make it." It's amazing how your body will respond to positive thinking.

See you on the other side of the mountain.

Betsy,

The others have said it well: You have prepared well, the waiting soon will be over, and you are at one of the finest heart facilities anywhere. I, too, send along my best wishes and prayers and look forward to hearing from you after you have joined us over here on this side of the mountain.

Wishing you the best Betsy. Looking forward to your first posting.

Bob :D
