Hi could you keep my family in your prayers again? Our nephew's (Don's side) GF just had a baby boy, Cody today. Before he was born we knew he has a couple CHDs,not sure exactly what but hypoplastic right ventricle and a few others things. They will know for sure now that he is here. Cody will need the 3 stage fontan surgeries. He will be going to CHOP in a couple hours.I don't know much like weight ect, but wanted to ask for prayers for our new little guy. I'll keep you posted. Lyn

Gladly, Lyn. As Karlynn usually says, thanks for letting us know how we can be of help.

Sending prayers, Lyn- please keep us posted and best wishes to your family.

Thanks, He was having trouble breathing, so they had to put him on the vent. The baby (who is cute they sent a phone pic has lots of hair) is going to CHOP tonight, but the mom has to stay in for another day or so, I know that will be tough, since the hospitals aren't very close. So Chris has to meet Dr.Spray (he did Justin's last 2 surgeries) by himself tomorrow, I offered to go if it would help since it is alot to take in and i know a little about the surgeries ect. I'll keep you guys posted. I suggested a page, but they haven;t set on up yet, when they do i'll pass it on.You know I like the more prayers the better. Oh he is a nice size, about 8 1/2 pounds.
Thanks again.Lyn
ps we also have a 6 year old niece Ryann w/ different CHDs than either Justin or Cody (altho close to Justin's) who has had 2 OHS (and some people say CHDs aren't genetic). Don's oldest brother passed when he was 12 following heart surgery, a couple years before Don was born in 57 and Don has 3 sisters one is Cody's grandmom and the other is Ryann's.CHOP research was really interested in our family tree and blood, Since we have CHd on MY side of the family too

Thoughts/prayers coming, of course, Lyn.....

Lyn, Mine are on their way too. 8lb. and a full head of hair sounds good! Brian

Still praying for little Cody. I sure hope you were able to go to the Dr. appt with Chris. Having someone else to listen and remember is helpful. Having someone there who has been down that road has to be a huge benefit.

Oh, Lyn!

Oh, Lyn!

I can't believe Cody is here already. I'm behind as usual -famous battle cry here! But you know you have my prayers and I will be checking in for updates. Having to stay at the birth hospital while your child is being whisked off to another sure brings back memories - not fond ones at that. YOu have our love and prayers. P.s. I know you probably already know, but Kim's Xander has HRHS and would probably offer them some hope and encouragement. Many hugs and update soon. Guess I will have to visit Justin's page and check for uupdates............not that I mind doing that, just need to find my earplugs.............:D heehee! Am I getting old or what? More hugs. J. NOpe, just checked it. Nothing there. Update please.
