Well, that's done! The doctor did something called a LASH procedure which went perfectly and I'm so happy that I'm home already! And I can hardly believe how well I'm feeling already! The doctor said I just need to make myself rest a lot for two weeks and then just pace myself after that. Amazing! I'm tired and maybe a touch loopy but I think that's mostly from the pain medication. Ladies, thank you all so much for your kind words of encouragement. It really helped soothe my worries going in. I really appreciate the posts. Thank you again.

I'm eight weeks out today! And I want to very gratefully and very appreciatively thank you all again for your kind words of encouragement and support; it all meant a great deal to me!

I'm completely recovered and I feel absolutely terrific! And that whole thing, that I've worried about for several years, turned out to be a breeze!
