Dick: I understood your question. You're probably right about the extra Vitamin K. I was just suggesting that dehydration can also contribute, in case this was a factor.
Although the results in both meters are ALMOST the same (2.4 and 2.5), I'm even a bit surprised by the difference. (I tested my blood with a ProTime and a CoaguChek S - but only once - and got identical readings from both machines). Of course, there could be rounding errors or who knows what? that may have made that .1 difference. Sure, I wouldn't be concerned with results like you got on both meters -- lab results don't always correlate as closely, as we've seen on smoe other threads.
I certainly can't hypothesize why your INR dropped, any further than others have already suggested. The important thing is that you're watching it, and able to retest as needed.
